Where did you get the Rug?

Thank you all for the lovely feedback and enquiries from the recent article published in the Sunday Independent featuring one of my projects! (read all about it here ) Interestingly, one of the most common questions was "Where did you get the Rug?".  It seems given the level of interest out there, it is difficult for you guys out there to source nice rugs...Well fret no more, as I am about to give you one of my designer secrets....Woven Ground!  They have a flagship store in London which I love to visit when I go over there, but even better you can buy all their products on line, with just a few clicks.  There is something on this site to suit every budget and every taste so go on, indulge and buy yourself a beautiful rug!  Keeping it closer to home, you can also shop for rugs at  Anne Maries rug is from Brink & Campman and prices start at €235.00

Styling for your Interiors

Below is a snapshot of some of the beautiful items I used to style a clients house for a photo shoot with the Sunday Independent.  There is a lot of hard work involved in styling but it is so worth it, the punches of colour really nail the final look and bring a place to life.  The article will be published in the  Life Magazine section on Sunday Feb 10th.  I will be dealing with how to Style your Interiors as well as so much more at my Interior Design Evening Classes kicking off next Tuesday evening Jan 29th.

Thanks to Appassionata for the beautiful flowers and Avoca, Arnotts & Dunnes for the accessories.

Swirl @ Showcase 2013

We have had an exciting few days so far at Showcase 2013 where Tricia (Harris) and I launched "Swirl".  Isn't it beautiful!

There has been a great reaction to the piece.  Made from rosewood and maple veneer this drinks cabinet exudes a feeling of luxury and style. The veneer’s dark grain follows horizontally around the unit emphasising the sleek curves. The curved doors interlock beautifully when closed to create the main aesthetic feature of the piece and open out fully to reveal the maple interior.
